Score Media And Gaming Upgrades To TSX
Score Media and Gaming Inc., a major media and sports betting service based in Toronto, has announced having received the final approval needed to migrate from the TSX Venture Exchange to the Toronto Stock Exchange.
As a result of the approved upgrade, Score Media and Gaming will henceforth be trading on the TSX instead of on TSX Venture Exchange, and under the existing “SCR” ticker. The firm recently announced having received the necessary conditional graduation approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange at the beginning of September.
Graduation’s Perfect Timing
Needless to say, it’s an announcement welcomed by Score founder and chief executive John Levy. According to Levy, the upgrade will support the firm’s efforts in terms of expanding its North American reach. The conditional approval received is according to Levy a major boost to the firm’s “growing” position of leadership in North American gaming, sports media, and also esports.
What’s more, added Levy, the graduation is made all the more exciting since it just to happens to come at a time of expanded multi-state rollout of the company’s theScore Bet product, which is an award-winning sportsbook product. All of which means that alongside a major international stock exchange milestone successfully and in record-time achieved, even more sports fans than before will now get to enjoy Score Media and Gaming Inc.’s unique and audience-targeting media and interactive gaming experience.
About theScore Bet
Concurrently with the September 15 commencement of the company’s trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange also was finalised the delisting of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares from the TSX Venture Exchange. The graduation required no action on the part of shareholders, said the media giant during the run-up to the migration.
