NASCAR Inks Brand Bet Deal With IMG Arena
The latest news on the sports and sports betting front is that NASCAR sports betting has just gone global thanks to a deal with IMG Arena. NASCAR has confirmed that it is now in a licensed position to for the first time ever, provide live streaming rights to globally based sports books and all thanks to a new deal with logistics and licensing partner IMG Arena. IMG is a London-based leader in all things sports betting rights.
What the partnership with the U.K. betting date rights industry leader effectively means, is that sports betting operators situated and licensed outside of Canada and of the U.S. will now actually be able to access whatever NASCAR races remain of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season.
IMG Gets The Full Brand Monty
The deal furthermore authorises and licenses IMG Arena to make use of proprietary NASCAR imagery for a brand-new virtual sports betting game scheduled to be created for IMG Arena by creative developer Leap Gaming. Graphic designers will be able to reconstruct and recreate some of the most popular tracks in the sport of NASCAR today, including, wait for it, the legendary Daytona International Speedway.
IMG Arena is banking on a massive expansion in terms of its virtual sports betting vertical. IMG’s portfolio already includes everything from horse racing to tennis and soccer. Adding NASCAR motorcar racing into the mix will prove a huge and significant milestone reached for IMG Arena.
But IMG Arena is more than just a dab hand at virtual sports betting offerings. The operator is in control of at least 460 sportsbooks worldwide. The majority of the sportsbooks offer 24/7 live streaming alongside a slew of virtual games. The operator is a well-known force in the industry and has in the past signed similar deals to the one with NASCAR, with the National Hockey League (NHL). In addition to the agreement with NASCAR and the NHL, IMG Arena also enjoys the title of “official data distributor” for the PGA Tour, as well as having aided the UFC in its endeavours to launch a new live betting product for sports betting partners eager to ramp up betting on Ultimate Fight Club brawls.
Penn Has Mobile Rights
Its only now a month on since NASCAR secured its very first U.S. sports betting deal with an operator partner. NASCAR earlier on this year concluded a partnership agreement with major sports betting colossus Penn National Gaming. Penn now has full rights secured to offer exclusive NASCAR betting on its still-in-the-pipeline mobile betting app.
