MPN’s UCOP To Make A September Return
The Microgaming Poker Network is doing its bit for passionate lovers of the game and its legendary flagship tournament series, namely the Universal Championship of Poker (UCOP) will be making its return for the 5th year in a row this autumn. The championship series promises an incredible €1 million in prize money and spread out over a total of 94 events.
This year’s instalment of the world-class event will run from 15 to 19 September. Microgaming has pre-released exclusive details about the event and just about everything on offer is enough to get any Poker lover’s buy-in juices flowing. This year’s tournament will feature hundreds of satellites, a superb leaderboard offering an additional $20,000 in bonus prize money, and buy-ins starting from as little as €2.20 and going all the way up to €320.
How To Book Your Seat
Seats will be open for the booking from 1 September and there’s something for every level of player in terms of bankroll and also expertise. Best of all is that a seat in the UCOP series can be reserved for as little as €0.01. Seats may be secured in all available MPN online Poker rooms.
The satellite schedule will include an exciting €22 buy-in Mega-feeder on September 29th. This will serve to fill the 100 seats during the UCOP main event and is expected to be one of this year’s top highlighted qualifiers. But it’s not a situation of one-opportunity-only to get in on the main event action. Every day will see a number of smaller feeder events being hosted and getting in early is advised in order to avoid disappointment.
Anyone Up For A Free Pass?
The actual ongoing event highlights for this year include the September 29 €100,000 guaranteed main event, the September 29 €45,000 guaranteed high roller event and also the September 22 €30,000 guaranteed 6 Max Freezeout event.
Perhaps best of all is that those Poker players who achieve a specific set of goals; all outlined in the UCOP online book of guidelines pertaining to the championship; will also earn a special free pass into the 2019 UCOP €100,000 guaranteed €110 buy-in event.
Mantas Urbonas, the 2019 winner of the UCOP main event, is looking forward to having a go at defending his title. He said that even though he realises that his chances are slim, he will be trying his best to knock at least one of the events out the water.
