GiG Joins Playtech’s iPoker Network
Leading casino games tech-supplier and platform administrator GiG this week announced having successfully migrated high-velocity casino content developer Playtech’s iPoker online network to its own aggregator platform. Playtech’s iPoker platform enjoys the support and active patronage of literally tens of thousands of online players the world over. The network enjoys a presence in the majority of markets allowing regulated online gaming.
Playtech’s product is in fact considered one of the largest networks of online rooms in the world today, and thanks to the latest deal inked between Playtech and GiG, the latter will now be in a position to provide its growing player-base with full access to exactly that: one of the largest and most respected iPoker network of online rooms in the world.
More Games & Better Experience
Considering the vast variety of game types GiG’s operator partners and global player-base will now be at liberty of enjoying – including Omaha, Texas Hold’em, 6-Plus Hold’em and Sit’N’Gos – it’s no surprise that GiG chief commercial officer Ben Clemes considers the prospect of partnering with Playtech and its iPoker product, to be a superbly exciting opportunity to have come crossed the provider’s path.
The idea behind the partnership, elaborated Clemes, is to provide a solid and strong Poker experience to all GiG’s operators and players the world over. GiG previously decided to add third-party Poker providers to its growing list of services in an attempt to add to its portfolio what the company describes as more “flexibility and choice”.
The popularity of online Poker has shot to new heights over the course of recent months. Since players are not at present able to join in in-person fun and games, many have since around March this year taken to playing the game online instead. Simply put, GiG’s timing could not have been more on the money regarding the deal, as what Playtech’s platform offers is at present in exceedingly high demand.
GiG Welcomed With Open Arms
As for Playtech, the industry behemoth is according to chief operations officer Shimon Akad delighted at having been in a position to welcome GiG to the iPoker network of online rooms. Akad said that it is his firm belief that Playtech and GiG as a united force can offer to operators a truly flexible and high-quality platform that is part of an ever-expanding online network.
