Playtech Launches Three Live Casino Games
When top iGaming developer Playtech recently revealed its plans to intensify the focus on the live casino industry, we knew that something big and newsworthy was about to happen. And we were right. The developer has just launched a total of 3 live casino games. One of the trios is a reworked edition of Playtech’s Hi-Lo game, and the remaining two are brand new versions of live Roulette.
The new live dealer Roulette titles are based on American Roulette; a very popular and increased-margin double-zero version; and on spread-bet play, hence the name of the second of the two releases, namely Spread-Bet Roulette. Spread-Bet Roulette is a fresh new twist on Playtech’s existing Roulette offerings; live as well as otherwise. The developer has revealed that Spread-Bet Roulette will incorporate a number of interesting side-bets for the enjoyment of Playtech’s vast player-base. The way in which the game was put together makes it possible for players to bet on one or more of a total of 7 side bets. To make things even more interesting, up to 400x a player’s current wager can be won.
All About The Experience
As for Playtech’s refreshed take on Hi-Lo, already a popular title in the developer’s award-winning portfolio, the new Hi-Low Club has been dressed in a brand-new jacket. The game now features an improved player-experience thanks to a spacious new room design, faster-paced play than what was the case with the original release and a much more modern approach in general. It even comes complete with its own Miami-style theme and special soundtrack.
Playtech’s Head of Live Innovation For Live Casino, namely Kevin Kilminster, offered valuable insight into exactly how the developer views the current landscape as well as how its bound to evolve even more when looking ahead to the future. Kilminster said that the new live casino titles were no longer regarded as gambling games only; live casino, said the Playtech man, is now more than ever before, a combination of the entertainment industry and the gambling industry. It’s the very presentation and the atmosphere created that draws players in. The immersive elements, said Kilminster, are what draw players to live casino games instead of staying stuck on typical RNG titles.
Playtech Has Been Busy
All three games are now live and ready to play on desktop and mobile. They are available on Playtech’s Live Casino network and are all 3 integrated with the Playtech Engagement Centre. The new-launch announcement was made only days after the release of the brand’s latest innovative slot, namely Space Digger, which also boasts cutting edge mechanics.
