NetEnt Hyped About Expanded DraftKings Deal
Top online slots and casino games developer NetEnt remains fully focused on U.S. expansion. To this end, the Stockholm-listed iGaming provider has now expanded its existing partnership with American daily fantasy sports and sports betting operator giant DraftKings Inc.
Having back in August last in collaboration with DraftKings launched a large and extensive collection of its online slots and online casino table games in New Jersey in the U.S., the intensified alliance between the two companies will now make it possible for NetEnt to do the same in the rapidly expanding Pennsylvania iGaming market.
An agreement to launch a similar linked-up initiative in West Virginia is reportedly also underway, as well as plans to expand into more local U.S. jurisdictions.
DraftKings Is Bigger Than Big
Super excited about the upcoming launch is NetEnt Vice President, Americas, Brian Kraft. What makes of this particular launch one of NetEnt’s most significant in the entire history of the brand, said Kraft, is the sheer size and reach of DraftKings’ presence in the regulated United States. The NetEnt VP described the prospect of expanding the iGaming developer’s association with the sports betting giant as a promise of bigger things to come. To have an operator the likes of DraftKings on board as the supplier enters exciting new jurisdictions, said Kraft, is a thrill and the makings of a future well worth looking forward to in positive anticipation.
Even so, NetEnt’s expanded association alongside DraftKings isn’t the supplier’s first major foray into a booming regulated United States online gaming market. NetEnt has since its initial entry into the U.S. established top supply agreements with a number of prominent local operators – including the famous GVC Group and MGM Resorts-powered BetMGM.
The U.S. Journey So Far
NetEnt has since its initial link-up with DraftKings – this was in July 2019 – become a leading supplier of online slots and casino games in New Jersey. Its Pennsylvania iGaming licence was granted by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) via the supplier’s NetEnt Americas LLC U.S. subsidiary already around the beginning of March 2019. The company has therefore been poised to expand its U.S. footprint ever since.
But the U.S. hasn’t been the iGaming supplier’s only key area of focus. Thanks to a linkup with Scandinavian state-owned operator Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, Swedish operators now have access to some of NetEnt’s most popular live casino products and titles developed to date – including Blitz Blackjack, Perfect Blackjack, and Auto Roulette Studio.
