Microgaming Partners with Switch Studios
Microgaming is planning to spice up it’s offering of online table games with its latest iGaming innovation: Switch Studios. The new, independent game studio will create content exclusively for the UK-based supplier and its clients from its headquarters in Ipswitch.
The studio’s team of dynamic online and social gambling experts are driven by a mutual passion for fun games and creating dynamic features using the latest technology in the industry. The result of this exciting collaboration is completely personalized gameplay that could one day revolutionize the real money market – at least, in their own words!
Switch Studios’ expertise will work towards developing a new generation of table games for Microgaming’s hundreds of operators, which will boast customizable features and tailor-made fun to all who enjoy them. The team’s first project, Roulette, is a luxurious take on the gambling classic, which will boast a realistic 3D wheel, lifelike ball animations, and an all-new game engine that also supports specialized bets, favorites, and race-track betting.
3D Roulette Launch On Its Way
Roulette is set to be optimized primarily for mobile devices as well, and will offer landscape and portrait modes for instant switches at players’ whims. The switch feature will also make for a more immersive and fast-paced experience, not to mention one that will be able to accompany punters in the palms of their hands.
Microgaming’s addition of Switch Studios to its extensive family has come as evidence of a new wave of titles that will soon hit the supplier’s partner sites. The studio now forms part of the Isle of Man developer’s studio strategy, which is aiming to captivate the market with targeted gaming content. The firm also plans to collaborate on a close level with its operators to engineer bespoke titles that suit the specific needs of their global player bases.
Roulette will be the first of a broad range of exclusive table games that Switch Studios will create specifically to be launched by Microgaming. The series will include complementary content as well, including Blackjack, which will be revealed early in the new year.
Spokesmen Comment on the Project
CEO of the developer John Coleman noted that bringing Switch into his company’s family ensures that it has a dedicated resource for enhancement and innovation of its current table offering. According to Coleman, the team has already shown a talent for producing sophisticated and stylish casino titles that are unique, entertainment and rewarding, and he now looks forward to developing the range further over the coming months.
Head of Studio at Switch, Tom David, also shared his thoughts, saying that he believes that his company’s background in the social, mobile and iGaming industries puts it in a great position to bring innovation to the online table gaming world. The studio’s goal, he said, is to deliver top-tier content that players from every country can enjoy, no matter their individual needs.
