Blueprint Gaming Launch Lucksome Studio
Leading Gauselmann Group games developer Blueprint Gaming has announced the launch of a brand-new iGaming design studio, Lucksome. The latest new development studio promises to bring even more innovative new content to players all over the regulated world, including content earmarked for the social sector, the online gaming arena, and also the land-based market.
The new Lucksome design team will link with Blueprint much in the same way as has been the case with partner-studio models created by big-name aggregators such as Microgaming, Yggdrasil, and Playtech, the company has confirmed. This particular model helps iGaming giants create more high-quality content on a monthly basis than ever before possible.
Meet The Team
The newly established team has combined games development experience of more than 29 years – including experience in actual games design and the development of content for online as well as land-based customers.
The Lucksome design team is considered highly experienced and a team that has built its skills according to the requirements of a global casino games market. But although globally minded, the latest addition to the Blueprint Gaming family is reportedly more than ready to create and deliver games that are localised and that have been designed while keeping the actual target audience and player in mind.
The new Lucksome team will be based in Malta, and will be led by industry veteran and iGaming content expert Bryan Upton, Blueprint Gaming has confirmed. A former NetEnt RNG design/development specialist, Upton brings more than 14 years of experience to the new studio. Also joining the team are several more former Yggdrasil and NetEnt employees, Blueprint’s announcement has confirmed, including Johan John and Josefin Uppeke.
Closely involved in the team’s future work and projects will be one of Lucksome’s creators, Simon Thompson.
According to Thompson, the Lucksome-team’s established background within the broader casino industry makes of the team a welcome and valuable addition to the broader Blueprint Gaming family. By joining the greater Blueprint family, the Lucksome team will help elevate the design and game-making capabilities of the larger collective, said Thompson, which will ultimately create an even stronger foundation from which to serve the markets with high-quality casino games content.
Lucksome’s first designs and offerings are expected to become available via Blueprint’s RGS platform as early as Q2 of 2021.
Other content studios serving the greater Blueprint Gaming group include Merkur Gaming, RGT, Livewire, Project, and Games Warehouse.
