IGT Signs Offer Of Extended Loto-Quebec Deal
If luck is indeed a thing capable of turning, then gaming-tech supplier International Game Technology (IGT) has stumbled upon the Holy Grail. Not too long ago, the brand was struggling to keep their ship from sinking, but it certainly appears as if all of that has started to change, and is changing still.
One of the more positive developments is the fact that the company has been offered a three-year extension on its existing supply agreement with Loto-Quebec. The deal has been extended up until September 2021, and according the mandate of the extension, the supplier will be providing its INTELLIGEN video lottery central control system to the provincial Lottery operator.
On this side of the border, the company’s Canadian subsidiary, namely IGT Canada Solutions ULC will be entrusted with the delivery of the contracted products and services.
The scope of the service offering includes much more than just a single proprietary product, and in actual fact, IGT will be providing a complete spectrum of products and services to the Loto-Quebec. These include, but are not limited to, instant-access Lottery ticket vending machines, video Lottery terminals (VLT’s), distribution management (of games), proactive diagnostic models, and more.
The INTELLIGEN system is all about ensuring that the Lottery operator remains in control of its powers and activities. It’s a full-scope management system and its functionality includes effective reporting and quality control. Getting and retaining a handle on every business is at the heart of what IGT is offering via INTELLIGEN.
Demand Is On The Increase
It’s been a busy time for IGT, and the company’s high-end solutions have been well in demand. It wasn’t too long ago that the tech giant had signed a similar agreement with Slovakia’s state-owned TIPOS. Lottery solutions and ongoing tech-support will be on the cards for IGT in Slovakia, and this also means that more doors may be opened into the rest of the regions and surrounds.
Washington’s DC Lottery too, had recently requested an extension of an existing deal with IGT. Instant ticket dispensers, marketing and promotional support, analytics and research; these are just some of the services and products which IGT currently already provides to the US-based operator, and will continue to do, thanks to the extension.
By the looks of things, it’s going to be a very busy and prosperous year indeed.
