December 1 – December 10

December kicks off with an impressive cacophony of entertainment.

Due for release during the first days of December is A Christmas Catch, the story of an undercover cop trailing a suspected diamond thief. The investigation turns sticky when she discovers not only new clues, but also new feelings for the alleged thief.

There’s also an interesting adaptation of the Broadway musical Annie. The 2014 adaptation of the famous tale sees a spunky foster kid taken under the protective wing of a big-shot political player. Together, they change each other’s lives in significant ways.

Another highlight available from December 1st is The Holiday Movies That Made Us. The series reveals the real stories behind some of the most iconic Christmas blockbusters ever written ad created. Those who enjoyed “The Toys That Made Us” are bound to enjoy this one too.

Other releases scheduled for release over the first few days of the month include Big Mouth Season 4, Leyla Everlasting, Dr. Suess’ The Grinch, Mr. Iglesias Season 3, and The Surgeon’s Cut.

December 11 – December 20

Onwards toward the middle of the month is A Trash Truck Christmas. When Santa makes an emergency crash-landing in a junkyard on Christmas Eve, it’s up to Eve, Hank, Trash Truck and all their special animal friends to save Christmas for everyone around the world.

But that’s not where the cuteness stops, because scheduled for release on December 15 are Paw Patrol, Season 7, and Pup Academy, Seasons 1 and 2.

More great entertainment planned for the middle of month include Hilda, Season 2, A California Christmas, The Prom, Canvas, Giving Voice, and The Mess You Leave Behind. Also coming during this time is The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part – definitely not to be missed by Lego fans.

December 21 – December 31

Ushering out the year entertainment-style is Home for Christmas, Season 2, a story of a pursuit of real love come home.

Coming up also is Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, a story adapted from the namesake August Wilson play. When the Mother of Blues and her band get together at a Chicago recording studio in 1927, there’s a sudden and unexpected rise in tensions. The story documents a part of the 20th-century African American experience.

Also coming our way in the last days of December are A Dog’s Way Home, Holmes & Watson, Grandma’s Last Wishes, The Magic School Bus Rides Again In The Zone, and Best of Stand-Up 2020.
