Alberta Designer Creates Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Ring
The Bachelor alum Kaitlyn Bristowe has become something of a household name. While she didn’t find love on the reality TV show, she has now become engaged to Jason Tartick, who also featured on a season of the show. To mark their special union, they enlisted the help of a designer from Alberta to create her whopping 5.09 carat diamond engagement ring.
The bride-to-be hails from Leduc, so it was only a natural fit that the couple turned to Chau Lui, the co-owner of Paris Jewellers, to design the perfect ring. Lui said that Ms Bristowe is really proud of where she comes from, which is why she wanted a ring from her hometown.
Finding The Perfect Ring
Of course, the ring needed to be absolutely perfect. While many of us agree that the rock is a stunner, the process of finding the perfect ring for Kaitlyn Bristowe was a challenge, but an honour for Paris Jewellers nonetheless.
Ms Lui stated that when she began designing the ring, she looked to the TV personality’s own personal fashion choices. This is reportedly what inspired the intricate detail of the lace diamond gallery in the ring.
When it comes to picking an engagement ring for someone, there are always multiple options, said Ms Lui. There are so many possibilities to choose from that she encourages people to put in the research and look at different designs for what they might want, so that they have at least a vague idea of what they are looking for. The designer added that when you have an idea in mind, you will easily be able to find something that reflects your own style and that every time you look at the ring, you will be reminded of your own journey and of your love.
Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Unique Design
Ms Bristowe’s engagement ring certainly speaks volumes about her romance with Jason Tartick. The sparkler features a 5.09 carat oval cut diamond set in 14-karat rose gold.
Paris Jewellers has become a well-known name in the Alberta jewellery industry. It’s very first store was opened in 1987 in St Albert. Since then, it has grown from the quaint 400 sq. ft shop space to 23 stores dotted throughout four provinces.
The jewellery store is a family business. The Luis emigrated from Vietnam without knowing how to speak English. They bought a Vietnamese-English dictionary and would use it to communicate with customers whenever they came into the store.
