IGT’s Wheel Of Fortune Bingo Goes Live In Ontario
Award-winning digital gaming and entertainment giant International Game Technology (IGT) continues to expand and go from strength to strength. IGT announced this week that it has now brought its popular Wheel of Fortune Bingo offerings to gaming enthusiasts in Ontario.
Several charitable electronic Bingo centres recently began rolling out IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Double 3X4X5X Pay Bingo and Wheel of Fortune Five Times Pay Bingo across the province.
The big-brand provider is a leader in the legal gaming industry and the genius mastermind behind an impressive selection of gaming products – including Lottery offerings, electronic gaming machines, Bingo, sports betting, and much, much more.
IGT’s Wheel of Fortune games draw their inspiration from the epic television show Wheel of Fortune, with the company holding licensing rights to the concept in association with Sony Picture Television.

IGT’s Bingo offerings, and in particular Wheel of Fortune Double 3X4X5X Pay Bingo and Wheel of Fortune Five ties Pay Bingo, have been the first to be rolled out to charity gaming markets in the Canadian province. These trademark Bingo products are now officially live and available at an impressive 37 charitable gaming locations.
According to Ontario Lottery and Gaming Senior Director David Fraser, the supplier’s Wheel of Fortune brand presented as an electronic cabinet Bingo experience represents a significant opportunity for engaging new as well as existing gaming enthusiasts in the province. He said the OLG expects to see a marked increase in gameplay, along with an increase in the generation of much-needed funds for charitable organisations.
A New Day For Ontario iGaming
IGT Regional VP for Canada, South, and Central America, David Flinn, commented on the roll-out by declaring the supplier fully poised to take the player experience for Ontario’s charitable gaming market to all-new levels. Flinn also said IGT will continue to put its resources to good use by developing new products in support of legalised charity Bingo entertainment in the province.
More good news is that the province is set for a massive iGaming expansion this spring. Local authorities recently revealed that Ontario’s new open-door iGaming market will officially launch on April 4, 2022. With agreements with several prominent private gaming operators now in place, approved suppliers will finally be permitted to offer their wares to online gamers in the province in a legal, tax-contributing, and regulated way.

More good news for IGT is that the provider recently inked a legal deal with the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation via its local Canada Solutions ULC subsidiary.
Announced on Feb. 1 and due to run for the next 5 years, the agreement will see IGT rolling out an updated and modernised version of its proprietary INTELLIGEN™ central video Lottery system to the Crown corporation.
