BCLC Launches IWG’s InstantJackpots™ Module
The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) is constantly looking for new ways to spice up the experiences of players when interacting with its games and products. The Crown corporation’s latest effort in this regard recently saw the BCLC become only the 5th Lottery to launch Instant Win Gaming’s e-Instant jackpot-enabled InstantJackpots™ module.
The first game available from the InstantJackpots™ module, Jungle Tumble Jackpots, has just been released across the BCLC’s PlayNow.com platform. Although only recently released, Jungle Tumble Jackpots has already managed to attract a massive and loyal following from players scattered across Atlantic Canada, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and Virginia.
It’s Been An Ongoing Partnership
But this will not have been the first time that the BCLC has partnered with Instant Win Gaming (IWG). The instant games supplier is in fact the prime instant win games provider to the Crown corporation ever since the two gaming giants first hooked up in 2018.
The InstantJackpots™ progressive jackpot module is exceptionally popular as it enables Lotteries to launch big jackpot games just as effortlessly and seamlessly as any other e-Instant title by IWG. A second new InstantJackpots™ title is expected to be launched on PlayNow.com by as soon as the second quarter of this year.
According to IWG chief executive officer Rhydian Fisher, it’s been only a joy and a privilege working in partnership with the famous B.C. Crown corporation. Fisher said that the working relationship of the past number of years has made collaborating on yet another phenomenal series of instant win games only a pleasure to look forward to. Fisher added that Jungle Tumble Jackpots is a significant addition to an already strong and impressive range of product offerings.
Improvements & Changes
The BCLC also recently extended its working relationship with sports betting technology provider Scientific Games.
Owing to the provisions of the latest extension of deal, once single-event sports betting becomes available in Canada – a possibility looking more likely an event than ever before – bettors will have access to a variety and scope of sports betting solutions and products via Scientific Games’ OpenTrade sports wagering platform.
The BCLC also recently celebrated welcoming a new interim CEO. Lynda Cavanaugh recently took over the reins after former President and chief executive officer Jim Lightbody stepped down in order to commence cancer treatment.
A former Assistant Deputy Minister in the Ministries of Attorney General and Public Safety, Cavanaugh is considered more than up to the challenge of leading the Crown corporation into the future.
