B.C.’s Playgon Games Receives MGA Licence

Playgon Games Inc., a local and upcoming British Columbian mobile gaming powerhouse provider, is celebrating yet another remarkable achievement. Playgon recently announced that they’ve now been endorsed with a Type 1 Gaming Service Licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). With headquarters based in Vancouver, B.C., Playgon Games boasts several premium iGaming offerings, including Baccarat, Blackjack, and Roulette. They’re also the studio behind their stunning proprietary Tiger Baccarat™ title, a game that will no doubt benefit greatly from the studio’s latest big licensing achievement.

The Type 1 Gaming Service Licence awarded by the MGA will now allow Playgon Games to fully explore everything the booming world of Live Casino games has to offer. The licence was the final approval needed for the studio to distribute their Live Dealer titles beyond the borders of Europe into several more world regions.

Off To A Great Year

It’s been a phenomenal start to a new year from many different angles for Playgon Games. The studio earlier this year got named one of the top Venture 50 companies for 2020 by the TSX Venture Exchange.

What definitely helped boost the studio’s prominence in the iGaming sector is that they reported a share price increase of 257 per cent over the past 12 months alone. This, coupled with the prestigious recognition by the TSX Venture Exchange, will certainly help catapult the local provider to even greater heights.

Celebrating the new licence along with the rest of the team is Playgon Games CEO Darcy Krogh, who recently pointed out that the newly acquired licence from the leading world regulator is anticipated to go a long way towards the company launching daily operations in more regulated spaces.

Looking Back At 2020

This year’s success only builds further on last year’s achievements for Playgon Games.

The iGaming provider last December inked a software licensing and distribution deal with SWINTT Malta Ltd. The agreement has resulted in SWINTT, which is a subsidiary of iGaming giant the Glitnor Group, obtaining the full rights to present Playgon Games’ diverse and stunning range of titles to local markets.

Included in the Vancouver-provider’s impressive portfolio are several Live Dealer solutions and a wide variety of online casino table games ready to enhance the local gaming space.

A good example of another institution that has managed to achieve remarkable success by doing exactly this, is Crown corporation Loto-Quebec. The Crown corp. has been ramping up its own offerings by introducing Live Dealer titles developed and provided by Evolution Gaming.
