Gateway To Host Job Fair For Casino Sarnia
Exciting times are headed towards patrons of Gateway Casinos and Entertainment’s newly revived Gateway Casino Sarnia at Hiawatha Horse Park once the slots entertainment venue reopens its doors to the general public come January 31st, 2020. But what the reopening means for the local community is even more significant yet, as a reopening after some 6 years of having been closed, won’t only mean the re-institution of regular allocations to the community, but also various new job openings.
Job security is arguably the most important form of social security that there is, and thanks to Gateway Casino Sarnia, some 60 new positions have already been allocated and will soon be open for applications. In fact, so important is proper planning on the part of the operator, that Gateway is hosting a special job fair on December 12th.

Information Sessions & More
The job fair will be hosted by the Point Edward’s Sunbridge Hotel & Conference Centre and will run from 11 a.m. through 6 p.m. Interested parties will on the day be able to find out everything there is to know about the available job openings, as well as apply for the available jobs.
Those interested in applying will furthermore be granted the opportunity to attend in-depth information sessions regarding various openings. Not only that, but they will also be in a position to have conversations with prospective employers and managers regarding the available positions. This will enable job seekers to make informed decisions about the positions that they intend on applying for. The available positions include a variety of job-descriptions. Many different skills and levels of trained individuals are required in order for a casino and entertainment venue to be declared a successful operation. Vacancies at the soon-to-open Gateway Casino Sarnia will include everything from premium dining staff to hospitality ushers at the casino itself.
A Variety Of Job Openings
Various positions are expected to be available on the technical front too. These include slots technicians, security surveillance staff, surveillance equipment experts and operators; the list goes on. These are the people who will ensure safe, effective and functioning slot machines for all to enjoy.
As far as the actual number of slot machines is concerned, the official number currently stands at 150 in total. This may be considerably fewer than the number of slots that were present at the venue during previous years, but the premium nature of the revived venue at Hiawatha Horse Park is expected to make up for this.
