Bingo Blitz To Donate $100M To Make-A-Wish
Not only does Bingo Blitz offer to a global audience base social Bingo fun that is free to play, but players wanting to support a tremendously good cause now also get to help unlock donations to the value of at least $100,000 for the benefit of the charity organisation Make-A-Wish.
Make-A-Wish endeavours to fulfil the final living wishes and dreams of children living with a life-threatening and/or terminal illness – whether that involves becoming a superhero for a day or even meeting their favourite celebrity.
And for four days, Bingo Blitz invites players to help make all of that possible.
Artworks With A Difference
A typical Bingo Blitz game allows players to colour an exciting variety of artworks by playing a Bingo mini game that awards the different colours of pain necessary to complete each work of art. But for the duration of the Make-A-Wish initiative, these artworks will, according to the Playtika company, represent the wishes of children from around the world.
And so, for every artwork successfully completed by players over the course of the mentioned period, Bingo Blitz has committed to donate a sum of money to Make-A-Wish America, all of which will ultimately be used to make the wishes of children to come true.
This, confirmed Bingo Blitz, will be the first time it collaborates with Make-A-Wish.
Bingo Blitz Players Show Heart
At the core of what Make-A-Wish is about, is the realisation that by helping children turning their wishes into reality, they gain the emotional, mental, and also physical strength and tenacity required to more effectively fight whatever the illness they happen to be living with.
But understandably, the organisation will not be in a position to do any of the good work it continues to do without outside financial support and donations. And thanks to the kind-hearted folk at Bingo Blitz, their players will now get to become a part of the wonderful work done by Make-A-Wish.
What’s more, since more than one million people are playing Bingo Blitz every day, meeting the minimum donation commitment of $100,000 shouldn’t be too tall an order to pull off in absolutely no time at all. Rallying together casual Bingo players to make an actual difference in the lives of others is according to the Bingo Blitz team something they’re truly passionate about.
At the end of the day, so says Bingo Blitz General Manager Dudu Dahan of the initiative, supporting Make-A-Wish in this manner is just another excellent way of showing that games are about much more than just passing idle time, and that instead, they can be a real force for good.
