Brampton Man’s $100k Instant Bingo Win
When retired Brampton truck driver Reginald McNally finished scratching away at his Instant Bingo Doubler ticket, something looked so “off” that he immediately assumed that something must be amiss with his ticket.
But upon closer inspection, the 73-year-old grandfather soon realised that what he had in fact done was to uncover a box. Even so, what with his having never before encountered an Instant Bingo Doubler ticket displaying a box, he says he thought it best to consult the OLG Lottery App installed on his phone.
And good job he decided to check the result on the App too, because Reginald McNally ticket was a winning ticket. A $100,000 winning ticket.
Medical Care For His Shih-Tzus
He was pretty amazed says the former long hauler from Brampton of his big win. Winning to him, said the Instant Bingo winner of his super-size money grab, felt not unlike what he would imagine it would feel like to be walking on a cloud. The Kennedy Road Petro Canada-purchased winning ticket had him feeling as though he was suddenly elsewhere, said McNally, elsewhere and living a joyous occasion.
As for what he plans to spend his winnings on, McNally said he’ll first off be spending a portion of his winnings on getting medical assistance for his two older Shih-tzus. His dogs, as a result of their being older, are in need of medical care, said McNally - medical care he has not yet been able to afford to pay from his own pocket.
But now that he’s won a huge amount of money, the Brampton resident says he’ll be able to take good care of his “most trusted” companions.
How To Claim From The OLG
Instant Bingo Doubler is but one of many more Instant Bingo and other games offered by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG). The top $100,000 prize can be won by purchasing a ticket for only $5 from any one of the OLG’s official retail stockists. Aside from the $100k top prize, there are several smaller cash wins up for grabs too.
Winnings may be verified by making use of the OLG’s official mobile-friendly App, after which all winnings of $1,000 or over must be claimed directly from the Crown corporation’s OLG Prize Centre. The OLG is currently accepting direct in-person prize claims by appointment only. This in compliance with the relevant health and safety guidelines currently still in force in most parts of the country.
